The crankshaft position sensor measures the speed at which the crank is turning and adjusts fueling via the ECU to match. If it fails, your computer will not know the speed and will fuel it improperly.

Replace yours with a Vemo unit to get your computer reading everything properly again. Installs exactly in the place of your old sensor and will eliminate your car’s idle, performance, and misfiring problems.
