When driving your MINI you feel a clunk while going over bumps or while turning the wheel, this is usually the problem. Its best to replace the end tie rod unit, that way ball joints are repaired. This can also need replaced if you have alignment issues. One end connects to the axle hub and the other screws into the steering rack output.

After replacement alignment is recommended.
