Guide Rail

The guide rails in your timing set keep everything tracking properly. Because it is made out of a plastic-like material, years of abrasion can wear parts of it away. This can cause the chain can to become slightly loose and cause a chain ‘slap’ or rattle noise. Replace your damaged guide rail to keep timing chain noise to a minimum.
