The guide rails in your timing set for the 2.0T keeps everything tracking properly. Because it is made out of a plastic-like material, years of abrasion can wear parts of it away. The chain can get a little loose and cause noise in the chain.
Made from the same material and to the exact specifications as the original part, this replacement chain guide rail will keep everything on track and tight.
* This part is designed for the TSI engine only. This can easily be found on the engine cover of your 2.0T VW/Audi. It will clearly be stamped TSI or TFSI.
