Breather Hose – Hard Pipe

Emission systems are designed to regulated how crankcase gases escape. The Pressure Control Valve (PCV) and breather hoses are critical components of this system and must be kept clean. A plugged or malfunctioning emissions system will produce insufficient air flow and eventually damage the engine. If experiencing difficulty removing the oil cap or other emissions components it is likely the emissions system is malfunctioning.
