The N249 solenoid valve, located in the vacuum system, allows the diverter valve to open when commanded by the PCM. When this valve fails it can cause issues such as engine surging, low boost pressures and may be accompanied with a check engine light.

If yours has failed replace it with one of our OEM or OEA replacement parts.
