Damage to your oil pan from a cross-threaded or over-torqued drain plug could cause your oil pan to crack and/or leak. If someone tried to jack your car up from the oil pan, it could also cause stress cracks that may leak. A replacement lower oil pan is the proper solution. Remember to replace the oil pan gasket at the same time: ES#1514287.
