Coolant Expansion Tank Cap

This is a very important and often overlooked part of your car’s cooling system. A properly functioning coolant cap helps regulate pressure within the system. If it leaks, proper pressure may not be reached, and your car may overheat. If it doesn’t vent properly, excessive pressure can build, leading to severe leaks in the cooling system. The coolant reservoir cap should be tested at each cooling system service.
