Autotech AST COMPOSITE COLD AIR INTAKE, MK6 TFSI no breather

AutoTech has taken action to address the issues with your restrictive factory airbox by releasing our new MK6 Composite Cold Air Intake Kit. The factory airbox is completely removed and a custom K&N air filter with an integrated velocity stack is placed as far away as possible from the motor to ingest cooler air. 6-8 wheel horsepower is gained, as is a throaty intake growl when putting the hammer down! Don’t settle for competitor’s heavier steel units when you can enjoy the ultra lightweight performance that composite provides, at a comparable price!

NOTE: Will not fit late MK6 GLI 2013.5 + with Gen 3 TSI motor – these cars do not use a MAF sensor and have an easy to spot black engine cover
