Euro Sport Upper Front Stress Bar – VW Mk1

Stress bars are an important bolt on for all water-cooled VW ‘s, whether it’s for street or competition use. The triangulated* design of our upper-front stress bars help to eliminate the roll and twist of the front sheet metal frame. Construction consists of heavy wall 7/8′ and 3/4′ diameter steel tubing and is welded to 1/4’ thick steel mounting plates. Finished in gloss black powder coat.

Euro Sport upper-front stress bars require no cutting of the firewall or body modifications. Unlike some of our competitor’s bars, ours are true bolt-ons! Our stress bars are designed and manufactured to fit properly!

Hardware and installation instructions are included. Fits 8 valve engines only.

Notes:  Mk1 cars with 8 Valve engine.  It will fit some 1.8T engine conversions. Vehicles with Diesel engine may need fuel filter assembly lowered to fit.
