Air Conditioning Hoses, just like every other component in your vehicle, can wear down over time. If one of your hoses has a leak, you may notice your air conditioning getting warmer over time. The compressor will cycle on and off much faster than normal and eventually, you will lose your air con.If you are noticing this in your vehicle, visually inspect your hoses for cracks, rusty fittings and residue. Oily residue can be a sign of faulty hoses because oil from the compressor will get all over the outside of them as it’s carried with the refrigerant.
