The A/C condenser in your vehicle converts refrigerant gas into a liquid by cooling it with airflow. It condenses the A/C gas into a liquid, hence A/C condenser. Makes sense! There are two common causes of condenser failure. The first is leakage. The condenser has tubes and seals that cannot be replaced and therefore you will need a new A/C condenser. In the second scenario the condenser is unable to circulate the refrigerant due to metallic debris blockage. If internal components of the condenser come apart and disperse throughout the system, you might need a new compressor, hoses, receiver drier, and condenser, so keep the entire system in check and observe utmost cleanliness when servicing AC components.
