Common signs of failure include smoking on startup, rough idle, and sometimes a “Jetsons” noise from underhood at idle.

An integral part of the emissions system, the PCV valve lets the crank case breathe. This allows proper intake and exhaust flow, resulting in proper running and operation. Often split from underhood heat and age, this vents excess oil into the engine compartment.

For ease of installation, we recommend our installation kit in addition to this valve ES2677888.
