Timing Chain Kit

The timing chain in your MINI can start to have the common rattle. Common symptoms of failure include excessive vibration or “slap” from the timing chain, and the possibility damaging your engine. If left untouched, the issue can compound itself so far as to allow the timing chain to jump out of time, leaving you with a potentially damaged head and larger repair costs.

This kit has been assembled using genuine MINI components. Recommendable after repair to change engine oil and filter , ECSTuning has many oil service kits available from Genuine MINI to aftermarket.

• Timing chain tensioner – updated 551 newest version
• Timing chain guide rails , both sides which make a V.
• Timing chain guide rail, top T section
• Inlet Camshaft bolt x 1
• Outlet Camshaft bolt x 1
