Description
The Air Conditioning system in your Mercedes-Benz is easy to take for granted, until the moment it stops working.
The system relies on several systems and components to operate efficiently, one of those components is the A/C Evaporator Temperature Sensor. This sensor tells the A/C Control Module when the Evaporator is on the verge of freezing up. It is usually located near the Evaporator Housing, making it easy to service.
When this sensor fails, it can no longer send a signal to the A/C Control Module to shut down the A/C Compressor before the Evaporator freezes. Once the Evaporator freezes, air can no longer flow into the cabin, and your A/C will not blow cold air.
If you think your Evaporator Temperature Sensor has failed, replace it today, and bring the climate in your vehicles cabin back under control. If you are working on the A/C system, be sure to have everything you need to do the job correctly. It is recommended that the receiver / drier be replaced each time the A/C system is opened for any reason. Euromotiv carries a full line of A/C components for your Mercedes-Benz to help you keep the climate control working perfectly for years to come.
