Description
If one of your hoses has a leak, you may notice your air conditioning getting warmer over time. The compressor will cycle on and off much faster than normal and eventually, you will lose your a/c. If you are noticing this in your vehicle, visually inspect your hoses for cracks, rusty fittings and residue. Oily residue can be a sign of faulty hoses because oil from the compressor will get all over the outside of them as it’s carried with the refrigerant.
If you’re working on your air conditioning hoses, Euromotiv recommends changing all of your O-Rings that go in between the fittings, as well as the Receiver – Drier, which should be changed during any air conditioning service.
