Description
ABS Speed Sensors are a critical part of the ABS system on your vehicle, and failure of just one of these sensors will result in a non-functioning ABS system.
Speed sensors are located at each wheel on your vehicle, usually near the wheel bearing housing, and are used to pick up speed discrepancies from one wheel to the next to allow the ABS system to function. If one sensor fails, the car will not know how fast that particular wheel is turning, so it shuts the ABS system off.
If one of the ABS Speed Sensors on your Mercedes-Benz has failed, replace it today with a quality part from Euromotiv, and while you are replacing this sensor, it would be a great time to inspect the rest of your braking system, and replace any components that are starting to show their age.
