Accessory Belt Tensioner

If the accessory belt is sloppy and loose in your vehicle the alternator, fan, power steering, and water pump may not function properly. Alternatively, if your belt beings to snap or create noise, the tensioner is too tight. With either problem, the best solution is a new tensioner. Keep the proper amount of tension on the belt to keep your accessories functioning properly.
