Description
The factory sway bar end links serve the purpose of connecting the lower transverse link to the sway bar. As you lower the vehicle via shorter springs or coilovers, these links begin to place pre-load on the sway bar (as they are a fixed height but the vehicle has now been lowered). For the sway bar to function properly, there needs to be no pre-load on it when the vehicle is on a level surface. This is also one of the items that is addressed during a corner balance.
By offering an adjustable height range, these sway bar end links allow the user to set the ideal length to remove any pre-load on the sway bar. Further, the custom high misalignment spacers allow a much greater range of movement than the factory end links, ensuring proper sway bar operation without binding.
For those with stiffer sway bars, you will benefit greatly from the steel alloy body. While the factory plastic end links will deflect and even break under heavy load, these end links will have zero deflection. This means all the movement travels through the sway bar, as intended.
Benefits:
- Remove sway bar pre-load on lowered vehicles to allow proper sway bar function and more balanced handling.
- Steel alloy bodies do not deflect under heavy load, allowing the sway bar to absorb the movement (as intended). This is of particular importance for those with very stiff sway bars, as the stock plastic end links will flex and even sometimes break.
- High misalignment allows full range of motion without binding
- PTFE-lined bearings suitable for all climates and environmental conditions
- Improved vehicle turn-in due to zero deflection. No adverse effects on ride quality.
- Now includes rubber dust boots
