Description
Brake pad securing pins are used to hold the brake pads and anti-rattle springs securely in the calipers, however, due to their exposure to the elements, they can become rusty causing your brake pads to become increasingly difficult for the calipers to move, leading to poor braking performance.
What's more, these pins can become frozen in their bores, making removal extremely difficult, sometimes destroying the pins in the process.
If you are replacing your brake pads, make the job easier on yourself, and replace the brake pad securing pins at the same time.
One (1) set of securing pins is required per caliper.
