Description
Located under the valley pan, the coolant transfer pipe (or water pipe) in the N62 V8 engine is responsible for connecting the water pump to the rear of the block.
On the factory component, the o-rings found on the water pipe fail at unusually low mileages, leading to a tremendously costly repair due to many man-hours required to replace the one-piece pipe.
URO has developed a solution to this time-consuming and costly repair in their collapsible water pipe kit. The revolutionary two-piece design allows the installer to avoid tearing down the front of the engine, saving hours of wrenching time.
Includes not only the collapsible water pipe, but also seals, shims, spacer, lock ring, grease, and o-rings.
