Description
If you have a weak windshield spray jet, and the pump is operating fine, check for leaks coming from the washer fluid lines. An easy way to do this is to open the hood, and set the latch to the closed position with a screwdriver (lay the screwdriver across the latch and push down, most new vehicles will not allow the spray jets to operate with an hood open). Have someone operate the washer function while you look for any leaks in the line, but be cautious so you don't get sprayed down from a bad leak.
If a leak is found, be sure to purchase this new hosing and get your spray jets operating at full potential. The hose you receive will be 30 feet in length, and can be cut to size to replace the section or sections that are leaking.
Also used in vehicles with pneumatic door lock systems.
