Description
The factory nut is known for its ability to loosen and come off causing the oil pump sprocket to fall off. Once your oil pump sprocket falls off you have nothing to run your oil pump and loose oil pressure. When doing any service to your oiling system it is a good precaution to change to the drilled oil pump nut.
The nut is reverse thread like the original and gets torqued to 17 ft/lbs.
Fits: M50, M52, M52TU, M54, S50 (US Version), and S52 engines.
