Description
The EGR valve, or combi valve, is a part of the secondary air injection system that helps keep exhaust emission levels low. This valve is operated by vacuum to open and close an internal diaphragm, allowing air to be directed or stopped to the exhaust or intake system at idle or cruising speeds. If faulty, you may experience symptoms similar to a vacuum leak, and also receive an incorrect air flow trouble code.
Be sure to keep your emissions in check and replace your faulty combi valve today.
