Description
The Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve on your Mercedes-Benz engine is a device which is used to help reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx ) emissions by recirculating a portion of the engines' exhaust gas back into the intake manifold to be re-burned. This is the vacuum solenoid valve that will activate the EGR system and is located in the front of the intake manifold.
