Description
The ESP switch is located above the stereo and climate control panel and controls the on/off function of the electronic stability program, or ESP. The ESP system improves the vehicle's stability by detecting and reducing the loss of traction, or skidding. When the ESP system detects a loss of steering control, it will apply the brakes to help 'steer' the vehicle to where the driver intends to go. If the ESP button no longer functions as it should, and the system components are not damaged or faulty, this switch may need replaced.
