European Golf R Headlight Set

Direct from the European market, these HID housings will give your MkVII the ultimate in lighting technology. These are just the housings and do not include any of the components to make them light up in your North American market car but do include leveling motors. Perfect upgrade for any existing Xenon car! These housing include a clear side marker.

**Note: Below components are required but not included. However they can be swapped over from your US spec Lighting Package headlights:

• (2) Corner Light Modules - ES2727317
• (2) DRL Modules - ES2540169
• (2) H7 Halogen Bulbs
• (2) D3S Gas Discharge Bulbs

**GTI's with factory lighting package will require Valeo AFS modules:

• (2) Corner Light Modules - ES2727317

***GTI's only have one LED ballast per headlight for the "U"'s. These Headlights enable dual lit "U" DRL's with will require the below DRL module. Your factory GTI DRL module 4G0907697G will be used for the inner most position "U" and the below module 4G0907697F will be used in the the outer most position. You will then need to rewrite your coding already shown in your "55 Headlight Controller". After this is complete you will run a basic calibration, and then complete the following adaptations:

VCDS adaptation changes required:

• Channel (1) - Leuchte 0 BLK VL B36-Lasttyp 0
  • Change from: 12 - Blinkleuchten ; To: 33 - LED-Modul Blinkleuchten
• Channel (6) - Leuchte 0 BLK VL B36-Dimmwert AB 0
  • Change from: 100 ; To: 127
• Channel (1) - Leuchte1BLK VRB20-Lasttyp 1
  • Change from: 12 - Blinkleuchten ; To: 33 - LED-Modul Blinkleuchten
• Channel (6) - Leuchte1BLK VRB20-Dimmwert AB 1
  • Change from: 100 ; To:127

NAR GTI's of the 2017 model year may require different modules, and coding based on the housings that came on the vehicle from the factory. Coding above is based on a 2016 GTI SE with factory Hella housings.
