Description
To take advantage of all the benefits of Evans Waterless Coolant, Evans recommends ensuring your system has <3% water remaining in the system - Prep Fluid is designed to help achieve this.
Evans Prep Fluid is a Hygroscopic waterless cooling system flush specifically engineered to seek out remaining water after draining conventional anti-freeze and water from an engine. When block drains are unavailable or cannot be removed, Evans Prep Fluid should be used to complete a successful conversion to Evans coolant. Prep fluid is not, however a substitute to a thorough drain of all cooling system components, including the heater core and radiator. Evans recommends filling your system with Prep Fluid, running it, then drain and fill your system with Evans Waterless Coolant. Once complete, you can check your water content with an Evans Analog Refractometer: ES3524598
Features:
- Properties: Hygroscopically absorbs water.
- When to use: After draining 50/50 coolant from the cooling system.
- Benefits: Ensures all residual water is removed from the system.
NOTE: Prep Fluid is not meant to be used as coolant - this is an engine flush for use before refilling your system with Evans Waterless Coolant.
