WHY THE JHM DOWNPIPE?
The Factory OEM Downpipe is extremely restrictive and will limit the amount of power the vehicle can produce. This is because the OEM Downpipe has TWO large restrictive catalysts and a pipe diameter of 2.5".

The JHM MQB 1.8T-2.0T Downpipe designed to fit just like the OEM downpipe, and made into two sections to make installation even easier. Featuring a CNC'd V-band flange for a perfect fit against the turbo reduces chances of exhaust leaks, in house 3" Mandrel Bent Tubing for optimal fitment and performance, and factory O2 Sensor locations. Not to mention the increased horsepower and torque through the entire powerband and reduced turbocharger lag time.
