Description
The steering knuckle keeps the front wheels in a stable position when the motion of the interior steering wheel is transferred through the steering rack. This motion is transferred from the steering rack through the tie rods, which are connected to each front knuckle. The knuckle is attached to the control arms that allow it the pivot, making the vehicle turn in the appointed direction.
If the steering knuckle is damage, the alignment may not be able to be corrected properly. It is also common for the upper pinch bolt, which attaches the control arms to the knuckle, to break off and become seized in the knuckle. Don't let a damaged knuckle deter you from driving, have a new steering knuckle shipped to your door today.
This knuckle does not include the wheel bearing, hub, or any related hardware.
