Description
The automatic transmission in your Mercedes-Benz is a precision engineered assembly, capable of years of service, so long as it is properly maintained.
One of the ways the transmission needs to be maintained is with regular fluid and filter changes.
When servicing your automatic transmission, the transmission oil pan must be removed in order to drain all of the old fluid out, as well as to replace the transmission oil filter. Located in between the transmission oil pan and the transmission housing, this gasket is used to prevent oil leaks and should be replaced during each transmission service.
If you are servicing your automatic transmission, be sure you have everything you need to do the job correctly. This includes a transmission pan gasket, transmission oil filter and the correct amount of the specified automatic transmission fluid, all available from Euromotiv.
