Description
If you have started to notice a clunking noise coming from the front of your car, especially under braking, the culprit may be an often neglected suspension component called the guide rod supporting joint.
This guide rod supporting joins secures the guide rod to the chassis of you vehicle, and allows for a small amount of travel in the guide rods to account for movement of the suspension. Over time though, the rubber in this guide rod supporting joint can wear out, leading to clunking noises and also throwing your cars castor out of specification.
If you are replacing your guide rod supporting joints, now would be the perfect time to inspect and replace other suspension components that are starting to show their age. Euromotiv carries a full line of suspension components to help you keep your Mercedes-Benz driving as well as it did when it was new.
