The heater core is a crucial component of your vehicles climate control system, as well as the engine cooling system.
This heater core is located in the climate control plenum. Hot engine coolant is circulated through this heater core, and the climate control blower forces air through it, and into the cabin when the heater is on.
This creates a problem when the heater core fails, as not only does it affect the functionality of your climate control system, but also your engines cooling system.
If your heater core has started to leak, replace it immediately to keep your engine and your climate control system operating properly.
