Description
The heater control valve regulates the heat intensity inside the vehicle cabin by regulating the amount of hot water that flows through the heater core. Heater control valves can fail mechanically by sticking and binding, or leak, causing coolant loss. It is wise to replace the heater control valve when a new heater core is installed to ensure trouble free heater operation.
