Description
When the hood release lever is pulled the movement transfers through the hood latch release cable up to the vehicle's hood latch assembly. This action releases the securing hook on the hood latch assembly, allowing the hood of your vehicle to prop up. The hood release lever is located in the interior of the vehicle, on the lower left a-pillar. The hood release cable attaches to the back of this lever, allowing you to easily access your engine bay with a simple motion.
Since the lever is located in the footwell of your vehicle, it can often become victim to accidental damage, leaving you without the ease of access to your engine bay. Replace your hood release lever and restore the ability to easily pop open the hood of your vehicle.
