Description
The idler pulley assembly allows the radiator fan to be controlled by the accessory belt. The fan assembly attaches to the front of the idler puller and is driven by the rotation of the belt. Common failures of the idler pulley include a bearing noise, a bent pulley, or even they can even become locked up from dirt and debris.
If the idler pulley in your vehicle has failed, be sure to replace it to keep your fan turning and your accessories functioning properly and at their full potential.
