Forge Motorsport have been at the head of aftermarket MINI tuning since 2006, and proud sponsor of the MINI Challenge in the UK which sees our high-performance parts fitted to both the R56 and F56 generations of MINI, across the entire grid.
The Forge Motorsport intake for the F54, F55, F56, and F57 generation of MINI has been developed specifically for the 2.0 petrol turbo engine from the Cooper S and Cooper JCW, though it will also fit the Cooper 1.5 petrol turbo, as BMW use the same factory airbox. Please check MAF sensor design, there is a pre 2018 version and 2018+ version.
Dyno test shows the impressive 10 BHP gain
The intake itself features a laser cut sheet aluminum heat shield which includes a scoop to direct air from the cold air inlet on the slam panel. It fits the stock mounting locations with rubber grommets to reduce vibration and noise.
The pipe to the filter features a precision machined MAF boss so that the cars original MAF can simply be bolted on to the new intake, with the pipe itself being hand fabricated at our manufacturing facility in Gloucester, UK.
"Please Check MAF Sensor Before Ordering" There was a year split in the design and you can confirm fitment by matching you MAF sensor mount to the photos of the MAF tube on this product. They should match up for it to work.
The filter is manufactured to Forge’s specifications by Pipercross in the UK which features:
- Washable and reusable design.
- Layered multi-density foam technology.
- Improvement in engine power and torque with superior engine protection from dirt and dust ingress.
- Designed to flow stronger for longer.
The intake scoop and hard pipe are finished in hard-wearing crackle black powder coat to give an OEM like finish.
Fitting is very straightforward, requires no cutting or modification to the vehicle so it can easily be removed if needs be, and can be completed in 20-30 minutes.
Not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle as per the California Air Resources Board.
