Description
A leaking intake manifold gasket will cause to poor fuel economy, higher emissions and poor engine performance.
Each time the intake manifold is removed, the gasket needs replaced to ensure a proper seal. If it is not replaced, a reused old unit can leak and fail, causing massive vacuum leaks and a poor running engine. An intake manifold gasket is placed between the intake manifold and the cylinder head. They prevent leakage of air or the air-fuel mixture by sealing the gap between the engine parts.
