Description
The primary function of the intake manifold is to evenly distribute the combustion mixture to each intake port in the cylinder heads. A perfectly distributed mixture is essential for optimum performance and efficiency.
It can be difficult to tell if your intake manifold is damaged, but if it is, you might risk potential engine damage. Yet, even if it isn’t damaged, it can still be rather dirty, as carbon and soot can clog it up, restricting performance.
