This overhead light assembly came from the factory for MK7 chassis vehicles but VW made the smart decision to put a non-illuminated version of the overhead console in the face-lifted vehicles to save a few bucks. If you would like all of your buttons illuminated this is a direct retrofit into MK7.5 chassis.
