The CJM Industries Accessport mount is designed to fit left or right hand drive MK7 GTI's & R's. It replaces the factory defrost dash vent on the drivers side with a mount to clamp the Accessport holster. This replaces OEM part #5G1.819.705 (Embossed on underside of the vent cover). You will need to use your own Cobb Holster and ball attachment. These are not included.
Since this product is attached to the dashboard, it will vibrate at idle depending on your engine/tune/motor mount modifications. If your car already vibrates at idle, this holder will also vibrate.
CJM offers this part in two configurations:
V1 - Lower, longer arm to extend over the edge of the dash.
V2 - Tucked up tight to the A pillar on top of the dash.
Each vent pod is crafted from ABS composite 3D printed plastic to withstand cracking, fading, and warping while still giving your car a custom fit and finish. All pods come in a satin black finish. They can easily be sanded and painted for a custom color. Includes all necessary mounting hardware.
