No one wants to admit it but there is a good chance your engine is leaking either oil or coolant and if it is not leaking now, it will be at some point. The leaking oil and/or coolant can make its way on to the accessory belt causing walking and slipping which leads to fraying and bits of rubber making its way behind the harmonic balancer and even into the crank seal. Slipping, tearing or worse belts snapping can all be a major threat to your engine. Make sure this simple maintenance item is taken care of for a piece of mind and longevity. It's not a matter of "if" it will happen but "when" it will happen.

Tested on N52/N54/N55 and S55 for 100% confirmed fitment.

You will find either 6 or 8 E10 bolts are holding the harmonic balancer depending on the engine.
