Description
This billet aluminum oil cap from JCaps is a precision machined aluminum cover that snugly fits over the factory cap. This cap is designed to fit the smaller oil caps found on Gen3 TSI engines and EA288 generation TDI engines.
To install, evenly press the billet cover over the factory cap. Do not attempt to install the cap when the engine is warm. Since the cap is machined within a few thousandths of an inch of the factory part and when the factory cap is hot, it will expand to the point of being to big for the aluminum cap to fit over. Once the cap has been properly installed, there are two stainless steel set screws that secure the cap in place.
