Do you have an inaccurate oil level light on your dash? The problem may be your oil level sensor, which keeps track of the level of oil in the oil pan to avoid issues caused by loss of lubrication. If you're oil level is correct on the dipstick but not on the dash, replace the oil level sensor to rid yourself of the warning.

Due to the mounting position of the oil level sensor, engine oil will be lost during replacement. Check out Euromotiv's Oil Service Kits to replenish your oil and install a clean filter.
