Plastic Oil Filter Cap

The oil filter housing does exactly as it's name suggests. It houses the oil filter to remove harmful particles from the oil in your engine. Often the oil filter housing will crack from overtightening, possibly leaving you with an oil leak. Be sure to replace your damaged filter housing to keep your oil where it is needed, inside the engine. Remove with 36mm socket.

* This part is designed for the FSI engine only. This can easily be found on the engine cover of your 2.0T VW/Audi. It will clearly be stamped FSI (not TFSI).
