Did the brake light on your dash illuminate? Are you hearing grinding or squeaking noises combined with pulsations? If any of these things are occurring, the brake pads are probably going bad. Don’t let them get worse and damage the other components of your braking system, replace those pads.

When you replace your pads, be sure to change the contact sensor, and also be sure to inspect your rotors for signs of wear.
