Description
Please take note of the size of your existing rear brake rotor. The 2.5l and TDI models came with either a 260mm or 286mm rear rotor.
Replacement rotors from the dealership can cost a fortune and inferior local auto parts store don't know your European vehicle well enough to make a suggestion. If you need replacement rotors for your car, do an OE upgrade to Zimmerman.
Zimmerman has been building brakes for decades. They have some of the highest standards of testing in the industry and their name has always been associated with quality. These stock replacement rotors will function just like a OE unit and provide factory style braking easily.
If it's time to replace your rotors, then you should also replace your pads to get maximum braking performance. With a new pad and rotor set on your vehicle, stopping will be completely restored. Enjoy the stopping you liked when you first obtained your vehicle.
- 260mm rear braking components have the following identifiers.
- 260x12 mm (10.24") rear rotor size.
- Thread in (flare style) rear brake line connections.
With new pads and rotors, you need to make sure they are bedded and mated with each other. To be sure they are, follow the brake pad bedding procedure on Euromotiv's site.
