This is the Signal Acquisition And Actuation Module (SAM) for your Mercedes-Benz ML-Class, R-Class or GL-Class.

This unit controls the operation of various electrical systems for your vehicle body.

This version of the SAM is required for use if your are installing a trailer hitch on your Mercedes-Benz. This is the latest version of the SAM available from Mercedes-Benz.

The part must be coded. The data from the old control unit must be transferred to the new control unit. If a control unit is so defective that the data can no longer be read out, it must be completely recoded at a dealership.
