Description
The engine oil pan is a metal container located on the underside of the vehicle beneath the engine crankcase that collects falling oil during engine operation to be used again. The engine oil pan contains a drain plug for oil removal. Since the engine oil pan sits lower than the engine, it is exposed to the elements and potential road hazards. Any damage sustained to the engine oil pan can result in total loss of oil pressure and subsequent engine damage. When replacing the oil pan, be sure to have an appropriate seal. euromotiv is your source for genuine and aftermarket engine oil pans should you need to purchase a replacement.
