The 272-degree Schrick Camshaft is 1 step up from the stock cam. The greater lift and duration will boost horsepower at higher rpm where the stock engine may feel a little flat. This is considered a mild, "street" camshaft so low-end torque does not suffer a lot with this cam.

Schrick recommends using upgraded valve springs with this cam.
